Ben Affleck appears to be moving on from his estranged wife, Jennifer Lopez, with the company of RFK Jr.'s daughter, Kick Kennedy. According to a source who spoke to Page Six, Affleck and Kennedy have been seen spending time together around Los Angeles, including a sighting at the Polo Lounge in Beverly Hills.
The nature of Kick Kennedy's relationship with 52-year-old Ben Affleck remains unclear, but it's possible they are discussing a potential future movie role.
Unlike her father, who recently had an unsuccessful presidential run, 36-year-old Kick Kennedy has opted to stay out of politics, focusing instead on her acting career. According to IMDb, she appeared in an episode of HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm as “customer #2,” a show that also stars her stepmother, Cheryl Hines.
Kick Kennedy, whose full name is Kathleen Alexandra, is one of two children from RFK Jr.’s first marriage to Emily Black. She is named after her great-aunt, Kathleen Agnes Cavendish, who was President John F. Kennedy’s older sister. The original Kick tragically died in a plane crash in France at age 28. Her brief marriage to a British aristocrat in 1944 ended with his death in World War II.
Recently, Kick shared a photo on Instagram of herself holding an eagle, but there was no mention of Ben Affleck in the post.
Jennifer Lopez, 55, filed for divorce from Ben Affleck on Tuesday, marking the end of their relationship just two years after their marriage, which followed a previous romance. They had dated from 2002, got engaged, but split in 2004. This summer, they were seen on opposite coasts and did not attend each other's birthday celebrations.
Affleck and Lopez reportedly had no prenuptial agreement or settlement. It was Affleck’s second marriage and Lopez’s fourth.
While Affleck is a committed Democrat, Kick’s father, RFK Jr., recently shifted his support from his presidential campaign to backing Republican candidate Donald Trump in the upcoming election.
