"Poll: Donald Trump’s Favorability Surges Following Election Results"

 "Feeling 'Tired of Winning' Yet? President-elect Donald Trump might just ask that of his expanding base of supporters as his favorability has jumped six points since securing a return to the White House earlier this month, according to a poll released Tuesday.

The Hill reports that Trump’s approval rating has climbed to 54 percent following his decisive election victory, up from 48 percent prior to the election, based on an Emerson College poll.

Men show the strongest support for Trump, with a 61 percent favorability rating, while 48 percent of women view him favorably."

"Among white voters, 59 percent view President-elect Donald Trump favorably, while 53 percent of Hispanic voters and 28 percent of Black voters share a favorable view, according to the poll. The Hill provided additional insights:


Fifty-five percent of voters under 30 expressed a favorable opinion of Trump. His strongest support comes from Americans in their 40s and 50s, with a 60 percent favorability rating, while 48 percent of Americans over 70 view him positively.


The poll also explored public expectations of the 2024 race outcome, finding that 46 percent of voters were surprised by Trump’s victory over Vice President Harris. Among Harris supporters, 67 percent were surprised, whereas 71 percent of Trump supporters said they expected the result.

Conducted from November 20 to 22, two weeks after Election Day, the poll captures opinions amid Trump’s transition back to the White House as he finalizes Cabinet appointments and senior staff selections to drive his upcoming agenda.

The survey, involving 1,000 voters, has a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points."
